The Student Support Program (SSP), is an initiative through Wheeler’s Office of Equity, Community, & Belonging to encourage, assist, and celebrate students who are traditionally underrepresented in independent school communities and on college campuses. This cohort includes students of color, students from low-income backgrounds, students who will be the first in their family to complete a four-year degree program, and/or students who will be the first in their family to attend college in the US.
If you participated in this program while a student at Wheeler, OR if you identify as a member of this community, connect here with the SSP Alumni Affinity Group to network with fellow alums and support current students in the program.
For questions, contact Equity, Community & Belonging Student Support Coordinator Rose Phildor P’28, P’35 at rosephildor@wheelerschool.org or 401-421-8100 x2104.
