Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Wheeler’s student-run radio station, featuring honored guest and the station’s founder, John E. Corrigan '87.
The event program will include remarks and reflections on the history of the radio station and the growth of the media program, plus an interactive tour of the Digital Production Studio and the WELH on-air recording studio.
Hear how a high school student's innovative idea to create a campus radio station—broadcasting out of a teacher's small office—has grown over the last four decades into a thriving media program.
Remarks will be followed by an interactive tour of the renovated Digital Production Studio and the WELH on-air recording studio. Current students will showcase the many ways they are discovering their own voices and powers of communication through the academic and enrichment opportunities provided by this uniquely Wheeler program.
