Former colleagues and friends of Lisa Brackett, beloved former theater director and teacher at Wheeler, invite you to join them as they gather to celebrate her life and legacy. Lisa dedicated 27 years to the Wheeler School, where she inspired generations of students through her passion for theatre, her deep commitment to education, and her unwavering support of the arts.
A gifted and devoted educator, Lisa was also a cherished friend, mentor, and creative force within the Performing Arts Department and the broader Wheeler community. Her impact on students, colleagues, and alumni continues to resonate through the countless performances she directed, the confidence she instilled in young artists, and the vibrant community she helped build.
Lisa’s friends and fans will hold this celebration in Wheeler Hall—the very space where she directed countless performances and helped students discover their voices on stage. Light bites and refreshments will be served, with performances by former students and colleagues in honor of Lisa’s lasting influence on the Wheeler stage and beyond.
All who were touched by Lisa’s life and work are warmly welcome to attend as we celebrate her extraordinary legacy.
