Bay area alums: Join us for Wheeler on the Road: San Francisco, hosted by alumni siblings Priscilla Tyler ’11, Wilson Tyler ’14, and Isabel Tyler ’09 at Piccino Presidio, at the edge of the Presidio National Park and Golden Gate Bridge.
Connect with fellow alumni, enjoy Italian-inspired light bites and drinks, and meet Head of School Mark Anderson P'27, who will share reflections and updates going into his second year at Wheeler. This intimate gathering is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen your Wheeler ties in the Bay Area and learn more about what's new back in Providence and at the Farm.
Free event. RSVP by September 27.
Are you interested in hosting a future Wheeler by the Water or Wheeler on the Road event in a location near you? Contact us at wheeleralumnioffice@wheelerschool.org. We'd love to hear from you!

Arriving via Rideshare (Uber/Lyft/Waymo)?
We recommend setting your destination as "Presidio: Chestnut Gate." Your driver will drop you off at the Chestnut Gate entrance to the Presidio, located at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Lyon Street. From this point, proceed directly into the park, and the restaurant will be visible on your left.
Driving? We have a parking garage:
We offer validation for parking in the One Letterman Drive garage at 1 Letterman Dr, San Francisco, CA, 94129. After validation the fee is five dollars for a four hour stay. To access the garage, enter the Presidio through the Lombard gate, take the first right onto Lombard Drive, then turn into the first driveway on your right, where you will encounter a security kiosk. Security personnel will then direct you to the garage. Once inside, follow the signage and Piccino Presidio will be directly to your right (look for our oversized circular orange logo!).
Street Parking:
Alternatively, there is ample two-hour street parking available in the area. The block of Lyon Street that runs parallel to the park directly outside the restaurant generally offers plentiful two-hour parking spaces.
