Wheeler's Day of Giving Re-Cap

A BIG thank you from the Wheeler Alumni Board

In early 2021, the Alumni Board gathered (virtually) to set our goal for the upcoming Wheeler Day of Giving. In a year unlike any other, it was important to set a goal reflective of the dynamic and supportive alumnae/i community we have. The previous year we set a modest goal for 130 participants and were blown away when 179 of you stepped up. This year we raised the bar even higher with a goal of 200 participants, which you unsurprisingly surpassed with 211 alumnae/i donors.

We know there are many deserving and worthy causes out there in the world, and for some of you, Wheeler seems like perhaps a footnote in your long life story. What's important to know is our community is strong, we show up for each other. We want as many students as possible to attend this school and learn their powers. We are grateful to the compassionate faculty and staff, who hold us in high regard and rooting for our personal growth.

No matter your reason for giving, we see you and appreciate you. If you weren't able to make a gift, that's OK! There are many other opportunities to offer your support, whether mentoring a student or a fellow alumnae/i, speaking to a class, or serving as an advocate, or more.

We look forward to continuing your engagement as alumnae/i of The Wheeler School.
